• Make sure that all the fans are spinning
• Determine if any capacitors on the motherboard are starting to bulge and thus indicate a failing motherboard
• Tune-up the PC
• Download and install all Windows, Adobe, and JAVA updates
• Scan the PC(s) for viruses/spyware
• Optimize the hard drive
